"But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy." 1 Peter 15-16
God is holy. He is entirely without sin, and He wants us to be the same way. There is no way that anyone can be holy apart from God's covering of holiness. Without holiness, no man shall see the Lord.
The word "conversation" in this verse means more than just your words, it means behavior.
Be holy in all your behavior. God wants to conform us to the image and likeness of His Son, so that our behavior changes from sinful man to spiritual man.
