October 31st is "Reformation Day" Here the text that I received via email...

The pounding hammer drove the nail deep into the church door in Wittenberg, Germany. With these swift hammer strokes, on October 31, 1517, Martin Luther hung his Ninety-Five Theses, a pivotal moment in what would become known as The Reformation.
